IMMERSIVE RECORDING
Immersive Recording label (IR), specialises in the recording of classical music, captured in spacial formats. By design, immersive recording puts the listener at the heart of the performance, enveloping the listener in a 360 audio experience, whilst maximising the acoustic qualities of the venue.
Monitoring
At the heart of the IR editing studio is state of the art monitoring through a suite of Genelec Smart Active Monitoring and Subwoofers. The studio supports Dolby Atmos in a two layered system with both surround and height channels up to 7.1.4.
Processing
Processing is through Solid State logic plugins and digital emulations of legendary SSL consoles.
Converters
RME preamps and Ferrofish converters provides no-compromise studio quality conversion through DANTE connectivity, providing crystal clear sound and neutral frequency response to enable the purest reference.
Recording
A suite of OC18 large diaphragm single pattern cardioid condenser microphones, deliver superb venue recordings, with an even-handed nature, free from unwanted resonance.
